Come off it Boomer39 the C.S. is wat it is for charity it's like a 2horse race if both past the post together and it is a dead heat both share the spoils.. What other football competition allows that. As for trophies who remembers who won the C.S. in 1999 i cant,, but can remember wat we did win.

i know the c/s is only a "friendly",but it still counts as a trophy officially, whether is won by liverpool or lincoln! but you have to win the league or cup to try for it! same as the super cup or whatever it is called nowadays.
remember kevin keegan and billy bremner years ago in the c/s... dont think they classed it as a friendly!!!

You had to do that to win the World club championship or Intercontinental cup so that said and giving them type of trophies significance. Did Utd actually win an unprecedented quartet (4

) trophies in 1999 in your opinion ?

I will always admit when I'm.wrong and yes I got the dates wrong

but I am not a big follower of Liverpool to be honest. I remember the rivalry from when you were the number 1 club and do have an understanding of ypur jealousy

My bet is if your completely honest you would swap the lot for just for a league title especially if Utd overtake the English record which we both hold
