Default DB600PVR and Solid State Disks or CF memory

To avoid the heat problems with 2.5" disk drives I am thinking of using DDS or High Capacity Compact Flash with an IDE adapter. One expensive appraoch and one cheap one.!!!

If any of you guys have experience with such an appraoch I will be greatly grateful.

I have a DM600C and a DM600S both with IDE drives installed for the last 12 months and not encountered any type of problems with the hard drives or the dreamboxes.
