| Newbie  |  Dead Box Hello,just flashed this image (Digital Kaos v1.1 Image for Dm500 C/S/T) ( to my 500S, but the box is completely dead now. Tried to flash another image using Dreamup but the box is not recognized. Could somebody help me please. Thanks  |

| Senior Member | Hi Looks like you have done something wrong, did you read any tutorials first ??? As you are a newbie there is a steep learning curve so it VERY essential to do lots of reading first. All in the D/Loads section jbvid |

| Newbie | Hello, thanks for the reply. I am familiar with flashing etc, have been working with cable boxes for a few years now. After I flashed the image the box seemed to reeboot ( blank tv screen ) but the old PLI image started, I then went to menu/reeboot, the box went off and never came back on. I plugged the box out and back in again and the green light would not come on. Cheers |
