dm800 - can it pause live tv?

Hi,

I'm looking at getting a new recevier which can view HD channels and the dreambox dm800 is jumping out as a clear winner but I can't find out if the dm800 can pause live tv or can it simply just record a program when required?

Is there any other HD box that it linux based that can pause live tv?

It depends on the image but yes most (if not all) support pausing live tv.
