dreambox wireless

I saw a thread some time ago that i cant seem to locate where someone recommended a usb wireless dongle that works with the dreambox that was somewhat cheaper than the vonet, perhaps someone else uses such a part

what dreambox was it used on ? how did you manage to install be grateful for any help.

its runnimg on a dream 800hd with dreamelite 1.33d phoenix IMG then you can download the drivers from the add ons

Hi Billy2.
Bought one of the usb devices any ideas how to install on vu+duo using blackhole.
tried pluging into usb port at the back then going to addons but no luck.
obliged for any help m8.


Hi billy2 managed to get it connected plugged it into the front usb went to networks
it gave me an option to use the usb wireless adaptor entered all encrytion details wpa-psk
bla bla and will not let me connect.
funny thing thou when i change my router settings to leave it open without any encryption it works
any ideas or is it just the encryption on the wireless usb as ive tried all other ones through my router.
any ideas be grateful.

did you put in your encryption key for wireless nettwork ??? if not look under router
