Hi I have a little problem with My Dreambox 500 S . Maybe You could help me ?


So here is the problem .

I have Gemini 4.6 installed and using MGCAD1.31 /if i'm not wrong with version name/ . Using sharing.

The problem is that after some time of using ( viewing) the image freezes and can stay that way for a very long time .
Sometimets it happens for a second or two , caused by I-net connection , but when it hangs , seems it could stay that way forever.

But. after doing restart of MGCAD or any other interface used before hanging up , and doing a restart ( sometimes even powering off-on ) the image comes back and could work for a long time 2-3-4 hours or can freez again after 4-5 minutes.


Did You ever got such problems and how it can be solved .

You are using Gemini 4.6....!!

I know people have had issues with 4.6 'No Bomb'.. not working properly and strange things happening..

For a Dreambox 500S.. Unless your box is over 2 years old it is best to use nothing higher than Gemini 4.2..

Freezing on screen though is normally caused by poor servers.. Sharing is not allowed to be discussed here but it sounds to me your partner has too many friends for his equipment..
