Default Why do so many Dreamboxes go on the blink
Why do so many Dreamboxes go on the blink ?. I bought my Dreambox 500s

two weeks ago brand new from China , It worked okay the day that i received

it, But the very next day it was as dead as a dodo, I have checked photos of

originals with photos of clones from China and it dose'nt seem to be a clone,

So again i ask why do they all go bang. I would love to know the answer.

When you say a Dreambox clone, do you mean your Receiver has the Dreambox Logo on the front of it ? If so the Replica Dreambox are very poorly made imported from China, on the other hand if you have a Eagle Linux or BlackBox Linux Receiver these are better than a real Dreambox and Dreambox themselves have even said this themselves.

All I can sugest is send your receiver back to the dealer you bought it from even if its online.

Stay away from replica Dreabox's there Crap! after all its only the logo your paying for not quality, or buy other clone receivers such as Eagle or Blackbox

Differance:

Replica = has the dreambox logo but is very poorly made and realy poor tuners.

Clone = eagle + Blackbox that do not carry Drembox logo's or pretends to be something its not.

By all means the Eagle Linux and Blackbox 500s are a good buy of course do not load Gemini software onto them, but for these two receivers the support is the same as it is for the Dreambox 500 series.
