The technology is the same, but passive 3D glasses (like those in the cinema) don't have the same viewing quality as powered glasses.

wanted a wee but advice regarding 3D glasses. I have a 50" Samsung C Series 3D TV which uses the infrared technology on glasses. These have been discontinued now.. can get them on ebay but the prices are ridiculous.
I was wondering if the samsung 3D bluray players have 3D emitters?
If so, I could invest in one that use bluetooth technology and hence make it future proof.. otherwise.. the Tele needs to go..![]()

the 3d blu rayers dont have emiiters buddy, u can still get hold of the sammy glasses google is your friend .............
gutted that the glasses went for a tenner on Currys sales... no stock left.. and the same ones are being sold on ebay for £25 plus..![]()
yeah be grateful my sony ones cost £60 a pair and i have 5 kids![]()
