virgy have recently upgraded our speed from 4 meg upto the 10 meg the deal they are advertising at moment i have yet to hit anything above 7 .

Do you think they need a phone call or is this the norm

Try powering off the modem for a few minutes and then back on.

Give a few days, some sites never give you full bandwidth anyway. IF you download from newsgroups or rapidshare, try that.

I currently have the phone and broadband option, so I can ditch BT. The broadband is 2M which is OK (I just need to wait longer with tor...). I play online games; RTCW for those who know... yeah, I'm an old vet. LOL

Anyone play FPS?
