seems everytime i fly with ryanair we hit the ground fair hard on landing then they slam on the brakes
i think its because of ryanairs cost cutting there probably running on fuems at this stage![]()

What's the worst experience you've had on a commercial flight? Is it turbulence? annoying passengers (apart from kids, they're always annoying on flights, even when they're your own!)
Anyone been on a plane hit by lightening? what's that like?
And what's the worst turbulence you can experience? total nosedive?![]()

Every time I get on a plane with the missus, she's the worst flyer ever.
Grabbing and screaming out.
If only the bedroom was as much fun![]()
Turbulence the plane dropped must of only been a few feet but since then ive been terrified, It was flying back from NYC, we were at a point where the flight map showed just water so I thought well if we go down here then its a long swimI hadnt thought of the prospect of not surviving the crash!!!
Im really scared of flying now but i put myself through it

then the pilot got a hold of it a started climbing really hard.
scary shit, all the kids and some of the adults were screamihng their haed off.....
dont know what this was
flying to turkey from gatwick last year, plane took off ok got to cruising altitiude, engine noise died down as it should,,about 5 minutes later plane dropped out of the sky,,the entire contents of my stomach was about to introduce itself to the passenger in front,,,the missus was screaming along with most of the other passengers,,the plane levelled off again and the pilot said **** all to anyone
now i love turbulence,,,seriously i do,and i love flying,,,the missus always looks at me when she hears a funny noise etc and i do my best to always try and chill her out,,but on this occasion i failed miserably,,dont have a clue what happened on that flight,,,i suspect we hit an air pocket but not 100% sure

was on a flight up the Arabian Gulf, we were only on a short flight from Doha in Qatar back to Bahrain when I was living at the time. A massive thunderstorms were kicking off all around us, being February it is expected though. Our plane took off and basically flew straight into the storm, then the turbulence hit, and cabin crew were being thrown all over the place, the captain screamed over the tannoy for all cabin crew to get into the nearest available seat and belt up asap. The flight had about 20% occupancy so there were plenty of seat for them. The plane a 767 was all over the place and you could see out of the windows the wing tips lights swing straight past upwards then downwards.. we were all over the place and some of the passengers were throwing up all over the shop. I was starting to get worried myself, the initial excitement was quickly wearing off, my colleague was not looking to healthy as he grabbed his seat but nearby was an Air France crew who were dead heading it up to Bahrain who seemed to think it was a right laugh. This went on for just a few minutes before we dropped down below the storm and decended into Bahrain. I dropped my bag off at my apartment and then went out and nicely smashed at my favourite bar..
Incidently, while on my flight down to Doha earlier that day, our plane, an old Gulf Air Tristar developed an engine fault. When we landed the aircrew could not apply the reverse thrust and we almost went off the end of the runway and had to be bused to the terminal from where the plane finished up...
What a day that was...
i flew from Inverness to Luton on an Easy Jet and had turbulence from hell..
the plane was all over the shop, kids were crying, one woman was shouting "Let Me Out"
Anyway, i shat myself.. have been a nervous flyer ever since

I was on a flight from abu dhabi to Manchester to the side of me was 4 Indians who had never been on a plane before .I as i later found they were coming to Bolton to be FARMERS in bolton. As the flight got going it was quiet warm on the plane so one of the Indians just stud up and stripped of stark bollock knacked and sat back down. The stewardess gave him the best bollocking i have herd since being in school. Then as the flight went on the one sat across the isle shit him self stud up droped his pants and started to clean him self in the isle to another bollocking by this time a german stewardess.
As we were about an hour off landing the air hostess came round with the immigration forms one of the Indians passed me a piece of paper with details of what to fill in on the forms and a pen pointing at the immigration form.It said basicly that they were farmers coming to bolton for a holiday.so i filled them in saying that they were coming to be drug dealer and claim as much benfits as possible .![]()

I fly every weekend at Wickenby airfield Lincolnshire as a hobby, I get kicked about every time as I'm only flying the light aircrafts at lower altitudes and we experience a lot of turbulence off various terrains, why do you do it I hear you ask, just go for a trial lesson one day and you will realise...chuck
You might want to look at micro bursts. All fine and dandy when at altitude, not so great when coming in to land.
