Default Puppy Has Diarrhea Help

The puppy is an canadian timber wolf and is only 4 weeks old for the past 3 days it has been having problems with diarrhea, i give it 3 meals a day mainly scrambled egg n supply it with goats milk roughly every 3-4 hours, also i give it puppy pedigree sachets n soak them in water a lil. Also i leave out water but my dog snifs it and walks off. Please help i am getting worried.

my JRT had the trotts when he was about 9 weeks old.. we had to feed him purely on rice with scrambled egg for about a week..

then after that we threw him on glutien free food.. he's been fine ever since.. now 7 months old..!!

stay away from pedigree and bakers.. full of shit..!

cut out the goats milk.. thats enought to me the shits.. its real creamy

it may take a few days for the effects of the solids to drop off.. his little bowels arent developed enough for meat yet..

goats milk only and he should be fine until 6-7 weeks, then slowly introduce a bit of weetabix mashed up with goats milk.. then a good quality complete food like Alpha..

Alpha Sporting Puppy

Default puppy

hi vtorres,
pups when their that young can be hard work m8 can be up and down, just make sure their is no blood in his stools which can indicate parvo, have a little jack russell pup myself which was only four weeks old when we got him, very young to be taken from the mother, was up and down for a good few days with diarrhea and would not take any water. my daughter had given him a powdered worm dose when he had nothing in his stomach and it damaged the lining in his stomach.its taken a week to nurse him back to full health. just make sure you keep him warm and and he should come good, best of luck m8.
