Unfair treatment of the singe person

How many readers have noticed the unequal treatment of "singletons" in our society. It is a growing trend to the detriment of all!
Singles Discrimination
gives examples of this and unlike discrimination on grounds of sex, sexual orientation or disability we accept it WHY?

Recently online petitions at
List petitions | Number10.gov.uk

have received a disappointing response bearing mind the number of singletons in the uk. Are all couples too selfish to show genuine concern for single friends don't they want them too be happy and treated equally!?

No has (or will) come up for a valid reason why some people are in couples and others not!

If you agree that discrimination against singletons is wrong

1) look out for and sign the number 10 petitions.
2) Post your expression of support
3) The next singleton you meet ask them if they want to remain single and if the answer is no fix them up!

If you don't well I hope your selfish and inconciderate attitude gets what you deserve.

wow mark you are a tad bitter arent you. however yes i do agree with you to a certain extent. when i was married i got no help with anything as i worked and had no kids. it used to anger me endlessly the amount of help single parents for example got.

We cant all be good looking. Remember, out there is someone for everyone . Go looking and you will find the one.

Then you wont be ranting about being a singleton.

Also before you reply by saying "i want/choose to be single". Then you can't moan about the non-benificial status.

If you think the millions of single people are in that situation out of chooce or through their own fault I got to say I think you are wrong. Incidently most singletons are amongst the most generous and conciderate people I know despite which they are in circumstances they don't welcome and deserve better!

Thanks for your participation so many people have shown better than I the poor attitude, discrimination and bullying towards the single person.

As for CG Scott The majority do not choose to be single but please respect those who do they are entitled to that if they wish and apart from that well made point.

No one has ever justified it. People starve in Africa and babies are born deformed both totally unfair and reasonable. A fact of life and we raise millions to feed the world pass laws to protect the handicapped and what do we do for the bullied singletons. We encourage discrimination against them true!
