Yesterday morning my brother in law sent an congratulations text message to his sister in Aberdeen who lives on the other side of the country
In the afternoon he received a telephone call from his next door neighbour thanking him for his message of congratulations on his anniversary.
My brother in law does not have his next door neighbours phone number as a contact/friend. The phone number was on his phone because when his next door neighbour was in hospital, he gave his phone to the next door neighbours neice to allow her to phone her uncle in hospital As we know every call made is logged on somewhere.
My brother in law did not know that it was his next door neighbours anniversary. So that was pure coincidence.
Now the problems start. The message to Aberdeen got through O.K. so there was no mistake in the sending of the text. How did the next door neighbour receive the same message.
Any explanations? The only thing I can think of is that there is some key combination that will also send the text to the next telephone number on your list(the telephone list not the contact list). Which just happened to be the next door neighbours number who also just happened to be celebrating an anniversary.
I'm going to lay down.![]()
