I have downloaded the link, opened it and copied and pasted onto my Garmin, is that all you have to do or do I have to copy it to a certain folder etc?

you need garmin poi loader- Google it

In the past I have copied and pasted the speed cam info directly into the P.O.I folder on my Garmin.
Although they appeared to have copied O.K into the folder would they not have been working correctly then as I didn’t use the P.O.I Loader?
Sorry if I sound a bit dim but I’m new to all this and just want to know if I’m protected or not

The latest Update for Garmin XT is available via the torrent download sites, just pop in a search for

CN_Europe_NT_2010.1_FULL_Unlocked_

it installs new updates to the maploader files on Your PC your old files are still available afterwards if you need them.
