unlock your Huawei dongle

Go to this
-http://www.bb5.at/huawei.php?imei=****************

Note that you have replace ************* with your modems imei number and that site will instantly show you the unlock code of your modem. Like this-

IMEI: *************
Entsperren / Unlock: 65007424
Flashen / Flash: ********
(c) SERGEY/MKL 2010

you want this line Entsperren / Unlock: 65007424

And after getting your unlock code follow the steps to unlock your modem

download and run this
-http://www.ruchirablog.com/tools/huawei-code-writer.rar

Click detect and select your modem from list then click accept.
Then click Unlock Modem and enter your 8 digit unlock code

Then click ok.

now its unlocked

It's worth pointing out:

This only unlocks a range of Huawei modems. I excludes the E220 and almost all modems with 04 as the 7th and 8th digit of the IMEI.

The so called code writer has been known to cause problems blocking the tries counter. Better to use the wrong SIM asks for code method...

Has unlocked my (3) E160G. Am getting a blue led flashing with Orange SIM card, but how do I get the dongle to connect now. The dashboard to connect will not display, & the 3 drivers will not autorun from the drive anymore. Any ideas please.

There is a perfectly good thread for Huawei unlocking where full support is given... Not here though!

i have unlocked 3 Huawei dongles with that software
they all work perfect after unlocking

nothing wrong with that software doz what its says
unlocks Huawei dongles EASY

the link that gets the unlock code works and gives the right unlock code
the software works and unlocks Huawei dongles

seems to me you dont like anyone else posting unlocking info

Sorry I wasnt rubbishing your post.
I am new to this. Your method has unlocked the dongle ok.Thanks. I was confused as to next step. Have now put Mobile partner on & am getting further. Just need to work out what settings to put in for Giff Gaff & Orange Sim cards. Will read a bit more on these forums before I post again & cause offence to anyone.

I've been in the cellular trade since 1990, so I speak with authority not guesswork!

Yes, the code inserter has damaged some modems!

I didn't rubbish your post, you did that yourself by posting something that you are not prepared to support!

The idea behind the main Huawei unlocking thread is to ensure that people who join the forum don't do so just to get their code and sod off never to be seen again! Sadly, your post perpetuates exactly what we are trying to stop!

Bluebird22 is not me, so you owe both Bluebird22 and I an apology I think!!

I beg to differ on the support, some modems will not work without a change of dashboard... Vodafone being a classic example!

You are a classic example of what is wrong with forums worldwide! It's simply beyond your comprehension why we have a dedicated Huawei thread isn't it?

You are quite happy to walk away when your thread creates questions as it already has. I have no authority on here? Probably true but at least I'll follow up one users have questions.
