Agree with SwagBag, but i found this forum post pretty handy.
i have just modded a couple PSP-3000 lately, and all the tools are listed here.
Guide: ChickHen + Cfw for 3ks/Unhackable 2ks - Sony PSP Mod & PSP Hacks Forums
But be warned, if your unit is a PSP-3000 and has OFW higher than 5.03, then you could be in trouble.
