PSP 1003

I have a psp 1003 that i bought second hand about 2 years ago after joining this site regarding my cable i now am looking to learn about homebrew my software is 3.10 oe-a and i would like to load games on the memory stick but i am struggling to do this i downloaded gta from my own omd but it will not play do i need to upgrade this firmware thanks for any help in advance

look into buying a pandora battery mate and creating a magic memory stick

the magic memory stick will update it with custom firmware that allows to games from memory stick, so i would'nt update with official firmare

if u cant get hold off pandora batter then u can do it with out thro chichen ull need to do a a few filmware up dates first but all u need is HERE
then after uve done that just update Digital Kaos - Downloads - 5.50 D3 Psp CFW
then ur good to go

ok so uve got chichen to run & put 5.0 M33-6 on it

ifso try getting the the 5.50gen update from psphack iv not got the link anymore as im on a new pc but if i come across it ill post it for u

hi im thinking of buying a new psp the limited edition god of war and i hope i can hack it after is it possible or not ? or should i just buy used one on ebay ?

Be careful of new PSPs. Those are PSP 3000s, and are currently not hackable. Look on eBay specifically for PSP 1000 or some PSP 2000s with the correct motherboard. To avoid the hassle, look for a PSP on eBay that has been preloaded with custom firmware

they are all hackable now upto 6.20 firmware
