    hey,a mate of a mate is selling a psp 2000 with custom firmware: 5.50 prome-4,would it play the newer games as im a total noob with the psp,cheerz in advance

    Id upgrade to 6.39 and try it there - either on OFW or CFW - and downgrade when youre done!
