Default nissan pathfinder d22 2.5d smokes at 3000rpm


pathfinder/navara d22 2.5 diesel 2000 white smoke at 3000rpm and holds back any ideas, i cant get any comms from the 14 pin socket (which is powered up) under the fusebox i have tried every nissan with my cs lite

no, but have a look at common faults on www.dieselbob.co.uk (google it if i'm wrong)

THINK you can 'paper clip' these like a vauxhall, try auto***a

possabity something daft like a) turbo kippered

looks for 'east midlands turbos' read somewhere there the best in the world

Crankcase breasther blocked.

no idea otherwise, dude.

ide go with a turbo fault there mate sounds like maf giving fuel but boost is not enough to burn it
check for leaks in the pipes and intercooler or stuck open solenoid or wastegate
and or egr valve would be my first port of call

FIXED it was a tiny basket filter in the pump inlet blocked,

looking at the bloke behind it must be loud, .

Like the use of puddle for 'water injection' Did the idea of a low down air filter come off a reno or something!

no thats where the turbo inlet is at 35psi of boost it make 610bhp.

WOW think you best start a new thread detailing this thing 610 HP
compression ratio, engine size, but how the hell do you stop it chucking out head gaskets.


Did see a reno 5 turbo had 3 boost gauges, after turno, inlet, after intercooler, had no exhaust valve stem seals as they got blew out!


How well does it tow a caravan

you have some broken pipe from turbo charger to inlet or airflow meter or map sensor is not in condition to mesure flow this is the only reason when the turbo diesel engine smoke and not have enough power
