hi all

had a307 convertable engine 2.0 16 valve petrol
customer said engine management light came on a couple of days ago then went out noticed no difference in the running of the car
i code read it and it came up with p1623 engine torque given
anyone came across this before any help please
i just cleared code road tested and sent it out

I'm sorry but I have no reference with this code, if it comes to engine torque could be something that concerns ESP and Traction control.

don't listen to me if you don't want to as i'm just a small boy and nobody loves me, but seem to think that there was another post round here, and the answer was hairflow meter on a vauxhall

logically finking how else does the ecu calculate torque
a fool errected engine MUST have engine speed (man) and load anything else is a bonus, map sensor or hairflow or both if you want on a turbo.
