Default VW GTI
I have a 91' Golf GTI 16V thats been sitting in the back yard the last 3 years; i'd really like to get it going again.
Have any of you heard of a problem with the main ECU stemming from a shorted IACV valve ( Idle control unit).
Mine started running crappy when the IACV went and I cant get it going well. a mechanic once told me that could be the case. Cant find decent VW mech's in my area.
Really too bad since that car was a blast to drive.
