Seems to be a common problem with this particular model. No firm fix for this yet as far as im aware but powering off at the mains occasionally for a few seconds seems to help.

Aww, that's bad but what about th EPG? It sucks as well!

Are we getting a fix for this soon? And by 'fix', can we like fix it by a firmware though the USB?

I really hope there is a fix to the freezing problem soon, the ex1100 is absolutely useless with the firmware it has now!

i also have the same problem with the ex1100
when i had the ex1000 i had no problems
only got the ex1100 cos it could record but its useless
if the epg dont work, plus when you set the box to record
half way throw the programe you want it frezzes

i have read on a few other forums ther is a fix being made
for the epg and picture frezze problem but may take a month or two

I have the ex1100 USB and it is working fine for me. No freezes, but the EPG problem does suck.

I'm new to this lark, and simply having the channels is a result for me.

i was told by senior member badapple.

as you know this is a new model, so some glitches in software are expected. The card in 0, card out 0 problem has just been fixed and the epg and freezing problem is beeing worked on now. the software writers are waiting for feed back on such problems and are working hard to fix these problems. Sorry but you have to wait for the next software update and hopefuly this problem will be fixed
