channel dump file?

guys wat is a channel dump file and do u really need 2 upload it 2 ur pc?

is it like saving ur channels on ur pc or customizing?

a channel dump file is a list of all your channels and frequencies.
you don't need to put it on your PC as you can do everything on your box using the remote to sort edit channels etc but depending on how much editing you want to do it can be a PITA.
by uploading it to your computer you can use a program like Voxer to do the editing, Voxer makes it a lot simpler and quicker.
