hi just got eurovox 6000 sd today got firmware from wizardmods used ...

Default eurovox 6000sd


hi just got eurovox 6000 sd today got firmware from wizardmods used usb key to flash it appeared to work then box shut down and all i get when i power up is 4 dashes which disappear left to right then nothing at all. have i completely knackered it or is there a way of restoring it file i used is KURO2_2.04p_November_25th

try and reflash the box again and see if that solves the issue

however this time put the firmware on the usb and then switch the box off and then plug it in and then switch it on. Dont plug the usb in while its switched on.

Good news you probably have not knackered it, bad news is v media will completely fook it up in next few weeks with new nagra 3 encryption, enjoy it for short time you have it.

tried this but nothing happens also tried useing a serial null modem cable and stb tool to reflash it but software just doesnt seem to be doing any thing left it running for 15 min or more but nothing dashes are running left to right all the time when connected to computer but software just says connect youre receiver and turn it on but thats all

dude I could be wrong but I think you have bricked the box by plugging in the USB while the box was switched on and now you most likely need to do a Jtag.
