Exclamation EUROVOX BLUE BOX (NO PICTURE)

Hi everyone,
Im new to this, so please bear with me.
I was wondering if anybody could help me. I have had a eurovox (blue box) for a while now and it sometimes jammed on It V. So what i would do is take out the power cable from the back of the box and then put it back in, this would un freeze the box and it wold work fine again.
However, when that happened today, i took the power cable out the back of the box and then when i plugged it back in, i couldnt get any picture, and the green signal light on the front of the box has gone off. I can turn the box on and off, and when i turn it on, it just reads '30', and i cannot change the channel or anything else.
I think that my box is a clone and i have recently flashed the box because i lost all channels. Is my box broke? or can i revive it??
Could somebody also please tell me the best box to buy, as i was looking at the EX 51000, but a lot of people seem to have problems with not getting many channels and the signal being quite poor.
I would really appreciate some help, as i am lost without my tv.
Thanks

Smile Thank You

Thank you very much for your replies. Yes i have tried to flash the box. I guess my next step is to j tag it then. Do you know anywhere where i could get 1 from??

Thank you very much for informing me about the tutorial aswell...my next question was actually going to be 'how do i j tag the box'.
If J tagging the box does not work, then is my box totally dead??

Oh, and could anybody also tell me where do i get the latest software from?

Thank you very much for all of your help, i do really appreciate it.

Default Time for a new box

My advice would be to get a new box its getting pretty old now and its a clone. You can get a Eurovox Max SL 1000 SL for £85.00 or even a Eurovox Max PVR EX5100 with 120GB harddrive for £150.00. I don't know if I can post a site where to get them from but if I'm told its ok I'll post again.(The latest software is at the top of the page in downloads)

Lightbulb Same issue

I have pretty much the same problem, but I have been assured that the box is genuine (not a clone). I cant seem to understand whats goin on with my box.
It turns on and off as usual, it even shows some information on some channels but with no audio or video, the screen is just blue

If I reinstall the firmware, will it fix the problem???
