Default which eurovox to buy with virgin media


I live in north east of england and have virgin media TV & Phoneline i dont have the boardband just wanted to know which eurobox to buy where to get it from and how to make it receive all the channels eg sky sports movies etc.. any help would be brilliant cheers mark

I am no pro with cable but If you want to watch channels which you are not currently paying for then you will need to download the 1.1a kuru software and this should allow you to do so. However if you want to use your sub card then you will need to buy a receiver which has a card slot.
The best eurovox at the moment is the ex5000pvr but this will still work with the others.

Hi i live in the north east and have a eurovox max 2008 (black) got it from ebay worked mint for 4 weeks then all i get is no signal and lost lots of channels now.Think this has something to do with virgin as my orginal box is crashing all the time.lots to choose from but couple of friends have older boxes and they say there fine to. Just watch out for clone boxes. hope this helps

Just a quick question my eurovox max 2008 has x2 card slots which one works can i use chipped cards to view v tele?. just i'm still having problems with signal when viewing channels.

you dont use a card for the eurovox you use firmware

personally just get yousrself a cheap eurovox piece of piss easy to manage i wouldnt bother paying the extra for the pvr because it only has one tuner and you cant record 2 channels like you can on sky+

mine works sound in n east

yours just sounds like a dodgy connection or virgin have moved you down the box do you pay virgin at all ie broadband or cheap tv package

you`ll just need the hacked firmware and hey presto you hace all the channels. but still keep ur sub with VM. it is nice to pay a little back for services even if it is the smallest package.

try this m8 good as any free postage
