Hi is eurovox ex1000 any good? any body has had any problms with it, positive/negative points please.

if you want a box for just for tv m8 it is a good box i would recommend i dont think there are too many problems at all with them

wel it wouldnt bother me m8 just check the feedback make sure its 100% and they have sold plenty of boxes they havent got it from selling other things

although i here rumours that you cant buy them anymore off ebay whether that is true or not i dont know there are still plenty in the listings

I got two ex1000 from ebay yesterday my friend ordered them for me, the guys/girls on here said they are a good box they are the experts. Ebay are starting to remove listing for the boxes so dont wait to long!!

i just brought 1 from ebay but there was a notice saying the will have to stop selling them soon on that site.

anyone know how to unblock the pincode.i reset mine yesterday while setting it up but i must have pressed an incorrect digit so it's not the code i thought it was !.Help appreciated

500c can be had for cheaper then the Eurovox ex 1000. im in 2 minds!

If unchanged use 0000 or you can use 1004 master code.

I wouldnt put them over a 500c, yes both are DVB C boxes but a lot of differences. The 1000SL is a cut down Max V basically and does the job for a simple channel giver.

The 500C can do a lot more, e.g stream, etc. If you have a bit basic PC knowledge and are OK with FTP then you will find setting it up quite easy. The EX1000SL is plug, flash, scan and away you go almost.

Regards firmware the Eurovox and similar STBs are closed source, the DM500C is open sourced and so the community develops the firmware, as you can see from DK 1.1 and other firmwares.

well mine came yesterday and im well chuffed with it. dont know much about the guide thing so it takes me ages to find the 1 im looking for as the names dont match up so il have to rename them if possible?
apart from that its very nice and easy to use and install.
