eurovox ex 1000sl

hi all, just ordered eurovox ex 1000sl, what firmware do i need to install to receive all the sky sports channels etc , im getting virgin cable installed.
do i need to do this every time they change their codes ?. thanks

All you need can be found in the red stickies at the top of this section. Once flashed correctly it with auto update.

just looked at the basic setup, problem is my pc and tv are in seperate rooms ! so cant connect to both at same time.

soz, but this is totally new to me, i just wanna make sure i dont mess up

You do not need it connected to the TV to flash. Once you have flashed it, then bring it to the TV to scan and set up.

I bought a eurovox ex1000 the other week and i followed the guide and used the firmware satsmo is talking about. It takes only a few minutes to load the firmware. Then when connected to the tv it takes another 15-20 minutes to do a fast install.
