Hi,

I am looking into getting a eurovox ex5000 pvr but just looking for a bit of information before deciding to change from my dream box.

Just wondering if you can record one channel whilst watching another.

Also how many channels can be recorded at one time.

And can a program be set to be recorded in advance.

The ex5000 only has a single tuner so you will not be able to watch a different channel while recording unless the channel is on the same frequency which only a hand full of channels are on the same frequency. If you wanted one that you could record a programe and watch a program on any other channel you would need one with a dual tuner like 'The box PVR'.

I think you can only record one programe at a time although i've never tried to be honest and you can programe it to watch a programe at a certain time. Hope this helps.
