    Question Eurovox PVR recording questions

    Firstly - Congratulations.
This is one of the best, helpful forums I've ever been involved with.
Thankyou gadget gurus; most of my questions have been answered, plus some I hadn't thought of yet just by thumbing through your posts.
    Anyway...

I acquired my EX5000 (with seagate 120GB HD) last week and followed your instructions to "liberate" my box. All has gone well - indeed now that Sky1,2,3,Sport news etc are coming back today, I am absolutely suited with the number of channels. However, when recording via PVR only a few channels are available to watch whilst it's busy. Do I simply go to "ADD favourites" and put every channel into the same category, POPULAR for example, and only record from that group, hopefully allowing access to the other channels whilst recording? I hope that made sense. Or am I just stuck with what it offers.
Also once I have a recording on my hard drive can I simply copy the programme to PC then burn to DVD?

    Regards in advance,

    Gazza

PS - How do I change my username in this forum from my Email address before I get spam for Viagra etc

No you can only watch and record channels that share the same frequencies. Its a single tuner PVR hence the reason behind this.

Regards saving to PC again this is not possible as it will just format your drive and you will lose all your recordings.

I will see what DF can do regards changing your user name.
