Default Eurovox Receivers And Firmware

This guide has been submitted with thanks to its author HiTeck, I have changed/added to it with his permission. So all credit and thanks to him.

Before attempting to put the firmware on your box make sure you do not have a clone, if you put genuine firmware on an clonebox it will brick it. Then the only way to recover is to Jtag the box.You will find clonesafe firmware at the end of this guide.

Check here to see whether you have a clone.

Its a UFL= Unified Flash loader, 2 in 1, all you do is hook the box up and press the top download button.

CDF= (Channel Data/Dump File) is for when you cant find certain channels, its a preconfigured file with all your channels/freq's for your area and provider.

To put this on your box you will need one of the UFL =(Unifed Flash Loader) on page 1 of this thread, you open the UFL hook your box up to your PC and press the bottom download button, a box wll then open on your PC asking for the file, you select it from where you saved it on your PC then press ok. should then put the CDF onto your box.

Hope this explains it for you

I've used UFL v1.1a (15-07-08) on the eurovox ex5000 and am able to pick up a lot of channels but there still many missing. Any ideas on getting the missing channels? Is there a way to manually add the missing channels? if so then where can I get the info about a channel so that I can add it myself.

What channels are missing? Make sure you scan from the direct feed without any splitter.
