    Default ev2 remote

    just recieved new remote control, thought great dont have to get of my fat arse to change channels but it doesn't work. it doesnt even look the same as the old one but was advertised as ev/ev2 remote. any help appreciated

    first check that it is sending a signal by using your mobile phone camera as if you are taking a pic of the end of the remote then press any button on your remote ,you should see it flashing.

    Could be black or silver but the button layouts are the same?.

    no its silver but doesnt look like the knackered remote

    As said they do the above remote in silver, could it be the above but in silver? or is it like the remote below?.

    Thanks for your help folks. reflashed using blue clone firmware and hey presto the remote now works
