Scariest ? I'd say "Shadow of the comet" when I was a child and "Fatal Frame/Project 0" in the past 10 years.

Ah no wait, scariest is Bubsy 3D.

Amnesia ! The idea of no having weapons is just terrifying. Doom 3 is also very scary.
