Hi guys, I tried finding a similar thread before posting. Basically I'm new to all this and recently bought a 6902 Combo receiver. I was told I could use the loop-out connection on the back of the receiver and connect this directly to the tv in a second room (albeit only to watch the same channel)... Is this true (I've tried and can't seem to get anything via the tv tuner) or...
Do I need another receiver and just split the cable (making the loop out function redundant?)
*hope I asked that properly![]()

Everything discussed on this forum is for experimental and educational purposes only. Use the information at your own risk.
you want the RF output socket(it will have a push on co-ax connector) not the f-plug loop through.

all downloads best with "firefox" & opened with"7-zip".
LOOP OUT is to connect another reciever not to go to your tv !
with loop out you must be on the same horizontal or vertical transponder that your 1st box is on !
RF out is to goto your other tv set !
please do not get these confused !
and under no circumstances can you split the cable as you say going to your LNB in to your reciever !
Correct, unless using another stb in other room you need rf out.
Thanks very much guys. That's more help than I expectedI'll go give it a try - Greets!
*Update: Worked like a dream using the RF Out connection![]()
