    Question 6902 Loop Out Connection

Hi guys, I tried finding a similar thread before posting. Basically I'm new to all this and recently bought a 6902 Combo receiver. I was told I could use the loop-out connection on the back of the receiver and connect this directly to the tv in a second room (albeit only to watch the same channel)... Is this true (I've tried and can't seem to get anything via the tv tuner) or...

Do I need another receiver and just split the cable (making the loop out function redundant?)

    *hope I asked that properly

this should be possible with the rf loop out and you would have to rescan your telly to recieve it

you want the RF output socket(it will have a push on co-ax connector) not the f-plug loop through.

LOOP OUT is to connect another reciever not to go to your tv !

with loop out you must be on the same horizontal or vertical transponder that your 1st box is on !

RF out is to goto your other tv set !
please do not get these confused !
and under no circumstances can you split the cable as you say going to your LNB in to your reciever !

Correct, unless using another stb in other room you need rf out.
