Technomate 5400 decoding problems

I have just installed a Technomate 5400 moterized systerm and am very happy with it except i cant decode anything as yet.
I Have it pointing at 1 deg west and am trying to get the tv1000 type channels i think they are called DigiTV but not sure,
i have i hope installed this patch

5400CI_5600CI_SUPER_130p_16-09-2009.zip (1.28 MB)

But am not too sure if its still valid.
Does anyone know if those codes are still working and if it is then i guess i am a dougnut that cant work the machine yet, and may need a quick promt on what to do

if you go to menu/system information you will be able to tell if the patch loaded ok,if it did go back to menu then at the bottom of the right hand column go into options and turn digi tv A/U off.then load the softcam after unzipping it digi tv should then open.any probs get back someone will help you out.

Hi dick thanks for your help, it looks like the patch is on ok as it is showing it on the systerm infomation.
So i am guesing i am not putting the softcams on correctly.
i am unziping the file onto a usb stick
then putting in the reciever.
it comes up with " TM softcam.key "
do i just press ok or the yellow key upload button?
i feel i am gettting closer...all the best

Do not use upload as that will send info from receiver to usb stick.

thanks for that.. so if i just press ok it should self instal?
as when i look in the cass the codes haven't changed
Also are the codes for tv1000 working atm as not having any luck yet?
