backup image

got my open media box today and it came with enigma image ...

Default backup image


got my open media box today and it came with enigma image on it.
i thought it was suposed to be neutrino that was on?
flashed it with neutrino off here for the open media and got it up and running ok.
when i go to the image backup menu which one do i use to backup image,
ie. read one partition (backup) then which one......

Backup image should be in the menu on the image somewhere.

Dunno exactly what you mean but if back the image up then you ftp the box the backup image will be in the /tmp folder.

what i mean there are different options for backup

dreambox cramfs+squashfs
dreambox jffs2
dreambox openbios
dreambox (w/o bootloader)
dreambox (w/ bootloader)
dreambox squashedfs
dreambox cramfs

do i just use w/o bootloader as dbox2

Yes that means your image will be backed up without bootloader.

Thats the one you want ma friend.
