Best image for the Cable Tuner on the OM500cs

Hello All,

Is the DK image v1.1 the best image to use for the cable side of this receiver, and are their any other images remcommended, if so why, what are the best and worst points of these images.???

Also do you flash it the same way as you flash the Satellite side?

I have just purchased an openmedia 500cs, but I have had a DM 500s for yonks, so I am looking forward to playing with the cable side.

Yes, you flash it the exact same way. Treat it as a DM500S and a DM500C.

You can have, for example, the NabiloSat image on the sat side and the D image on the cable side. Or Gemini or PLi or etc. etc. etc.

All images are generally the same unless you want to do weird and wondering things with it. They all support a cam via a download panel (if your box is connected to the net) and they will all give you channels.

Reading about the DK v1.1 iamge that seems to do the trick.

Can you use software such as DreamStream to view the box over the network??

Oh and one more important question, is there any dodgy images that are known to brick these recievers, like the sat image that bricks DM500s clones?
