Red face Bad picture and sound on certain frequency?

    Hi all,
With help of this great forum i was able to get my Starview 4 the box working

However now when i goto channels with 2 certain frequencies:
555000 & 523000, i get very bad/pixelated picture and squeeky sound, similar to when u get a bad reception on a freeview box.

When typing this post last night i was flicking through all the channels and when i got back to the frequencies above they were all fixed and i thought the box just needed to be left on for a while but it has started happening again this morning.

I have tried re-loading the firmware (1.07), factory default, rescanning the box, checking wires and cables plugged in ok, etc but to no avail...

I have also got another brand new starview 4 the box and have just set it up again using the n1 guide on the site and this is also got the same problem

Has anyone ever experienced the same problem? Im thinking if both boxes plugged into seperate coax cables are having the same problem then its got to be the source or is there any way i can change settings on the box (frequency?) to amend the problem?

    Can anyone help?
Many Thanks in advance for any help

    Default

try changing the frequency slightly ie on the 555000 adjust it at .250 intervals from 554500 to 555500 and see if any improvement

this is how on a SV2
put tv on the problem channel then
    menu/installation/OK
on the screen that opens select your cable network then scroll to manual scan and press OK
highlight down frequency and input the number of the frequency you require
check symbolrate is correct/constellation is 64 QAM/network scan is disable
then press OK to scan that frequency

    Thanks Smoggy,

When i went to try what you said, the channels were working
ok again ? always the way.

Thank you for the advice anyway because if it does happen
again what you said in your post is the sort of thing i was
    looking to do.
