hi can some one help me out i just down loaded StarViewPVR-21122008 for the the box i sent the file to the background data file i tried to flash it to older firmware but it seem if the box is lock up thanks

is this the older twin tuner version, u have flashed to.

The very latest one dated the 20th or 21st (BoxPVR_E_v4506_15Oct.bin older firmware but worked the best), fixed by Sunrise to autoroll the firmware released a few days b4 this one is full of bugs and was full of bugs when it was first released.

Hi all

New to the forum.

I have this firmware loaded and use the kemaster software to roll the nag codes, pain I know but it works.

My main gripe and this is getting worse is the way the recordings freezes after about 20mins this thing is very unreliable as a PVR, I have even reduced the size of my HD to 120G.

It needs new firmware, please correct me, but it looks like it has been replaced with a newer model - what are we to do keep replacing a very costly exercise.

when it's not done correctly have you read and followed the instructions on the post above yours by jok

It will not work in Ireland in Nthell areas and one post which you have already made. Welcome to the forum.

Is this the same as the "starview the box super usb"?
The reason I ask it says in the user guide it can pause and record the channel you are viewing! I thought this box had 2 tuners and you can record 1 and watch another? now I may be previous with this question my HDD hasnt arrived yet, any advice would be appreciated.

Ps I only got the box super usb 2 days ago and it came with the latest firmawere installed V1.12
