The box pvr keeps turning off!

Hi I have the box pvr with firmware v3105 08 dec 2008 its been working ok until the other day then it started acting up by loss of picture but still sound then it would turn itself off and display "the box" logo.
Today I reset factory setting and did an auto scan and all seemed well for an hour then it went again. It wants me to type in select language then the only way i get a picture is to rescan channels. any ideas please....

Read the thread at the top, either follow the instructions on how to stop it bringing up that every time you switch it on or install the newer firmware release dated the 20th-21st December.
