Default ip address the box-t


hello im new to the dbox
but a friend asked me to fix his dbox
now i know how to ftp but i cannot find the ip address
i have looked through the menu but cannot find it
also i am using a null modem cable as the box does not have a ethernet port
please help

press the dbox button then got down to settings then network

it does not have a dbox button (that i can find)
what does it look like

thats where problems start what box do u have THE BOX T ? as all boxes differ u need to give the correct info unless u want a doorstop.

If your box does not have a ethernet port then it cannot be a dbox as all dboxs have ethernet ports.

like cactikid said is it a dbox or the box T. if its a dbox it will have a button saying dbox on the remote

as i said i know very little about this box
the only marking are the box-t with one part of the x in red
i hope you can help

THE BOX T (MMDS)

This box is an MMDS Terrestrial receiver, that is suitable for use in Ireland only. It will not work in the UK. Similar great features as found on Starview 3 - THE BOX Super! Easy to set up and get going. Have a look in the Starview section as they are the same sort of box

all starview models can be identified by reading name on front of unit which is critical.
