Hi Everyone, am a total newbie (BUT OLD) can someone please advise me (like to a Child) how do i set up my new Starview4 super box USB, i have already installed FTA stuff using a usb stick,
but cannot find secret menu to turn on EMU (whatever that is) do i need codes if so how do u enter them ???

there s a tutorial in the downloads section ,,u need winrar to open it,,u can get winrar in the pc section in downloads as well ..heres another tut ......
u need to download the firmware from the link above or goto stickys or goto download section'''''u can download this on to a usb stick.. first u have to flash ur box u do this by .... put the usb stick into the bac of ur box.. goto menu ..goto usb.. goto where it says 1.07 and press remote and wait for it to download to box
once you have flashed the new firmware go into the menu and do a factory reset(default).
Rescan the box choosing your local cable provider.(N*L etc) (Choose english-autoscan)
Once the channels have saved, exit out 3 times.
Press menu and then 1570 on remote you will go into another secret menu.
Highlight the default key and press ok.
Then scroll down to the emu (key code)and turn it on.< > on remote
Exit out and put your box onto a S*y sp1
Wait for it to update. This may take a while.
You should be now all up and running...hope this helps ...bigfella

Thanks for the reply BUT... I did the flash with v1.07 etc
and all the f.t.a channels are on but cannot find this secret menu and its drivin me crazy. I did Factory reset(default) i scanned auto... exit x3 ...menu 1507 n NOTHING No secret Menu

How do you get this secret menu ????

Ps only channels on tw coming up not ntl ?? is this right i live in Manchester (somebody has to)

Ive even tried going on a blank screen on a pay 4 view and pressing menu 1507 still no secret menu

PLEASE PLEASE somebody Help

You input 1570 as opposed to what you are using "1507".

Hi from another newbie. I am thinking of buying a starview box but i am told the codes have been hard to get when they go down. can the codes be downloaded from here. Please excuse me but this is all new to me this stuff so i would apprechiate any help.

hi and welcome to DK..yup u can get the downloads from here..normally the firmware updates itself when the keys are rolled but sometimes..it can take up to a week for new firmware to cum tho if vermin r on th e ball....but lets face it it s a small price to pay for wat u get.......also theres so much to this site apart from cable n cable firmware if you take the time to have a look,,sometimes i think a lot of people just dip in and out for cable questions and new firmware and miss out on all the other stuff...the computer section is particularly good and also theres a freebie software part,,all good stuff,,,,,...,,,if you get stuck with your box theres plenty of good peeps on here to help just post a thread but please have a good look tho the threads first ,,all wat u need is there ,,,,,,bigfella

m8 r u pullin our legs,,,, if u read all of this thread theres all u need to kno,,,,,theres a tutorial on how and wat to do and where to find it. 1.07 firmware for the starview 4 usb either in the red stickys or goto download section....it s not hard just read the threads.....if u get stuck post a thread theres plenty of good peeps on ere to help....bigfella
