starview 7 problem

Hi has anyone had the same problem as this with the starview7 ...

    Smile starview 7 problem

    Hi has anyone had the same problem as this with the starview7
    when i run laptop same time as tv is running the tv goes all blocky like theres a scart problem lines appear on tv etc like
    interference but scart and all leads are fine tried changeing
    ethernet lead on box tried different port on router any help appreciated many thanks..

    your lappy is taking your bandwidth causing glitching,try rebooting your network to see if it clears.

    Cactikid thanks for the help if it does not clear is there a way to sort this apart from resetting network thanks for your time

    not into the router resets so i cannot advise there,hopefully others can offer more advice.

    [i use 1 pc and 4 laptop and starview 7 and 3 xbox 360 and it work ok on the starview 7 no glitching at all
    on 20 meg

    I had similar problem once, I went and bought 300Mbbs rooter connected with 10Meg line 3 years now never had any problem.

    were can i find on my starview 7 box were it says how long i have left on my subscription left

    Aint used one for a long time i think its menu then info im sure someone will put you right if thats wrong m8.................

    I am getting freezing at random times,
    how do i update the firmware, and which is the latest version for starview box.

    im using a pc il try booting my pc see if that works

    on lappy or pc doing downloads etc will effect cable boxes causing glitching,if pc or lappy are not used picture should be better.

    To find box number you go to: Menu...Utility...System information and your box number is there..
