Is it a clone or genuine box? It is a bad flash, you need to unplug it, hit download on gtromloader wait a few seconds and then plug it back in. This may take a few attempts.

It will catch eventually and say "flash burning" at the end and that will do it. But its important to know what firmware you are using.

That f/w you mention is an old f/w for a genuine sv1, if you have put it on a clone box chances are you have bricked it and it will need jtagging.

Latest f/w for sv1 is here Digital Kaos - Downloads - Starview 1 UK AU Fix v1.5 use the 257 bin file for clones.
