people just think ah no problem i will pay the money,it is the risk you take with cable more chance of problems ahead,i would suggest consider sat as a better way.

So people think Sat is forever, dependent on the way you go with that the risks are similar, you just have more choice of paying, as the majority want plug n play.

Even those that seem to advocate a general "sat is better approach" without understanding that nothing is free. Although the concept of CS by those that jumped from cable to Sat, (especially the traders), seem to infer such.

Pity Sat CS is now been brought down this avenue, it was heading that way but still a pity.

I prefer the avocation of the Satellite "hobby" is a better avenue in comparison to cable, but were people see a profit it's a lost cause.

Trouble is now, cable cs with kv and sv is crap. So there are loads of people looking for alternative. A lot of people struggled to use and update those boxes, which beggars belief, so easy.

So how do you think they could cope with setting up server, they would not stand a chance. Easy way is what they want, plug and play, so traders will take advantage, here to stay, well until this goes tits up.

I stressed the word hobby, but then again people will always overlook that as said.

same here pay for it, dont have time to watch it, but it gaurentees service for family.

the hobby side has now been overtaken by payservers, crap i know, but just choose a nice small private run one, let them make a little for time, fair few out there which wont cut and run.

On the Sat side it will be interesting to see what happens when surf block or similar gets rolled out from all providers.......
A lot of forums will need new servers just to handle the amount of posts like
"My screen says scrambled channel what do I do?"
