Sadly it is coming to and end. My driving licence ends on 2012.

Fantastic people them Mayans ! worst of all 3 bloody days before Christmas, I do hope the TV guide will include the 22, 23, 24 & 25 of december 2012 at least we can see what we will be missing over the holidays.

A fantastic excuse for not buying Christmas presents.

wouldn't worry about the tv listings. all be rubbish anyway.
i'll tell you what will be scheduled. christmas special dance on iceskates. dr who episode that will ultimately be a letdown. and a harry potter film.

if the world don't end, at least it will feel like it has when sitting through that cack

i think i will go out in jan 2012 and get all these buy now pay next year offers. If you ask me this 2012 forum just full of shit, when 2012 hits will they change there name to 2013. Were does it all end, i bet plenty of the forum members are from the ufo capital of scotland.

Dont be so quick to brush it away, theres a lot more weight to the 2012 date than you might think. I was a sceptic untill recently, but im about halfway through a book entitled "2012 the year of the mayan prophesy" and its some mindblowing stuff.

Problem is your thinking in a christian way, and it was never, ever meant that way. end of the world could very easily mean the start of a new world, or a new way of thinking. A spiritual enlightenment, if you will. And there is a lot of evidence for this already occuring.

Suprisingly, that book also mentions crop circles (which i was always an unbeliver of, i even had a go at making them when i was a kid!) and doesn't mention that crcle. It does put across a very strong case for some of them being real though.

think telling him to top himself seems a bit harsh and inappropriate. especially from a moderator. i would imagine that if any of us standard members were to make such a comment we'ld get a warning or perhaps banned.

funny, i thought you were all for free speech and joking about... I like you am also entitled to an opinion as a member or should i keep them to myself as a moderator.... I would not think worse of anybody else who wishes to laugh and joke about these absurd theories...

Lets face it, if somebody thinks the world is coming to an end in a few years then its gonna be a miserable existence for them... what happens when you believe in such a theory, do you just go on about everyday life or do you start some hedonistic rampage, society being what it is does not really tolerate such 'rampages'. Also you would think that all your family is coming to and end as well, so why keep any assets, why not sell them all and go on the bender of a lifetime as there is no point having a will and leaving anything behind.

yes, i admit some of my posts have been a bit knuckle deep but telling somebody to top themself is a bit over the top. you told me off about my Hitler joke and you have posted your own Hitler themed jokes. neither of us touched on the evil of the man but both jokes were borne from the same bad taste. but i suppose you're entitled to your double standards being a mod and all.
and i suppose here comes my ban. how dare i speak out? how dare i?

totally agree all this end of world stuff is a load of crap in my eyes...just like the millenium all the pcs were gunna crash but that never happened either

oh i see, you want to have slagging match with me. Well I will not rise to it mate, but remember the rules as you proceed.. If somebody complains and reports my post and DF or other mods feel it is to controversial and/or then they will dutifilly remove it as is their job.

funny this... a guy who i used to work with told my boss about the whole 2012 thing. The boss didnt believe it, so my boss and him made a bet!

The bet was that if the world didn't end my boss would own everything he has, but if the world did end, the guy would own everything my boss owns!
