Meet the part-truck-part-coupe being dubbed the world’s worst car, up for sale on Craigslist.

The cab and hood of a 1962 truck have been welded onto a 1990s Pontiac Grand Am in what is one of the more bizarre offerings on the online marketplace.

Offer: The car/truck is up for sale at an asking price of $3,000 on Craigslist

Described by the East Kentucky craftsman behind it as having ‘every option that a car could have’, the Pontiac’s front clip has also been replaced with one from an Oldsmobile.

Among the listed perks are ‘air bags that are in working order’ and door handles that ‘work great’.

The sprawling advert reads as though the author is in a desperate rush.

‘Too much to list lots of time put in this car,’ he writes. ‘Have too many other projects to, do so call.’

What those other ‘projects’ include are unclear. A helicopter-cum-plane, perhaps, or a lawnmower that doubles as a scooter.

M-H-M warns that no negotiating will be accepted on the asking price of $3,000.

‘Have probably twice as much invested – this vehicle will be sold as is,’ he insists.

The hybrid vehicle looks most bizarre from the front, with the truck’s bonnet seemingly perched on top of that of the car.

They are both red in colour but the truck shows its age with a far murkier, darker shade. Perhaps a lick of paint would help distract from its DIY appearance.

Bloggers and car fanatics have offered their own advice to future-potential owners.

Uproxx.com suggests they drive the car to ‘the middle of a secluded forest because I want to put this abomination out of its misery’.

That is *BRILLIANT* THANK YOU, no word of a lie, i like my classic Minis and that logo, again, no word of a lie, is bascailly what i was going to do with the logo of "Mensies Hotels" - but never found a logo on the internet to skank.

i only put it up as a joke.dont know anything about them,found the site a while ago,and just remembered it,
