Default Guide for Usenet?

Was thinking about writing a guide for usenet which in my opinion is the safest and fastest way to get all your warez material.

If people want it I will write it up. Let me know

. no point in reinventing the wheel is there!

tried doing a quick search when you put the thread up, but couldnt find anything decent (wiki didnt help, and thats normally fantastic for stuff). not even sure exactly what they are/do

go on, if you've got a decent link to hand it's gotta be worth a read

cheers bud

Get a test account from hitnews.eu or xennews.com

Download alt.binz

put your server info into alt.binz

D/l winrar and quickpar. (all the newer versions auto repair and extract but if theres a problem you will need these)

Goto NZBMatrix: NZB Usenet Downloads. NZBs Downloads / TVNZB.com / v3.newzbin.com or google usenet index.

Whilst on the sites above you will see stuff to d/l you then need to d/l the nzb (which is basically a torrent file for usenet).

VOILA - thats as basic as i can make a tutorial

I use newshosting as a server and newsleecher program to download the nzb files then quickpar to check the files and repair then unzip and burn a good site for blue-ray films I use and no need to convert just download and burn is
Ps3AvchD
or

Binsearch -- Usenet search engine

for anyfiles.

Hi

as barnsley-bill been using newsgroups since '97 use same proggies too newsleecher and newshosting, binsearch good and you can make yer own NZB's , also, newzleech.com for nzb's aint bad, but if you got newsleechers supersearch subscription yu prolly dont need anything else,

for tutorial you can try slycks guide _www.slyck.com/ng.php
