    Default Help on Laptop Decision

    Hi all,

Just looking for some advice / help on selecting a laptop. Any advice would be most grateful as im not sure what differences the specs are between the two.

I have narrowed it down to 2 which I think are best value for money and future proof. Budget really is max 400

    The two laptops are.
    Lenovo G580 MAA4UUK

    And

HP Pavilion g6-1331ea 15.6" Laptop - Silver at cheap prices | Pcworld

Also thinking of going down the refurb route as the HP G6 I could purchase for around 340.

Any thoughts and any advice would be great

Many thanks for the help in advance.

    Pioneer

i wouldnt bother with the one from pc world nor would i bother with pc world biggest ripoffs

if i had to choice i would get the lenovo but i dont like the gfx comment Integrated (Intel® HD Graphics with up to 1274MB Shared Memory)

mite wonna ask them what it is so ya can check its performance rating and not have to worry about having to over work the cpu or upgrading any ram to make ur vid card better

i dunno about referbed laptops not personal owned a refured one but u must ask urself why did it brake b4

so always look-up faults via google etc... on laptops u wonna buy that way u can get a good idea if n when it dose brake how much n what parts r most likey to brake

Well if you put it that way, i would go for the lenovo. It only costs a bit more than the other one, but it has got a i5 processor, which is far more better than the dual core processor the other laptop has, so you could use the lenovo for a longer period of time, before it gets too slow

How about saving for a little while longer and getting yourself an Alienware laptop?
They are heavier than most laptops on the market but they are built to last! I've had mine for only 4months now and never thought i'd leave apple but the alienware is superb in my eyes.
