    Default Watford Glitching

    Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone else is getting Glitching in the south east area, seems as though almost all channels are bad with signal of only around 60 per channel. I have done various factory resets and rescans, have reset all routers and removed the splitter to try and eliminated the issue but still seems to be really bad. The usual free to watch channels are fine just the others that are glitching! Also I have got the latest firmware. If anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated.

    Cheers

    Chris

60 is too low for box to work properly, cable problem or provider issue.

Thank you for the quick replies

more with the signal coming in via coaxial cable is too low,if you are paying for a bb feed possible signal is low,if you are paying a sub for tv signal should be higher, but not always the case.

Yeah I'm paying for a BB and basic TV sub, so signal should be a bit better. Would it be worth me calling them or do you guys think it's something to do with my setup?

so you have a provider box that is giving you problems YES ,when they come out to check other box and connections and remote are not there, one last thing have you tried it without the splitter as they go faulty.

Yeah I would remove all other boxes and just have their box in place, I have the cable direct into the back of the kryptview without a splitter to see if this was the problem but didn't solve anything.

if it is only the kryptview box giving you the problem, then its more than likely a server problem. How does your vermin box work?? Cactokid asked if it was your provider box giving the problems but in reply you mention kryptview.

Hey, thanks for the replies, sorry I didn't understand the question, the vermin box is working fine, just seems to be the kryptview box playing up all of a sudden, would you guys suggest doing a factory reset and try a different server. Can anyone suggest one?

you could try a factory reset and autoscan your provider, and when finished reboot your network as in box modem and router off for 30 secs then on.

    Hey Cactikid,

Thanks for the replies, I have tried all the suggestions but I'm still getting the glitching, I think the box may be on the way out, because I can get ITV2 perfect picture on Vermin Box but the same channel on Kryptview is glitching and picture breaking up.
